AHHHH! I'm so glad you're here!
I'm Shawna, the face behind the camera. I'm from a small midwestern town in good 'ol Ohio- but ya girl has dreams of moving out west one day. I've been an artist all of my life, from abstract painting to pottery you can find me always creating something. A little over 10 years ago I found my passion for photography with the help of my grandmother (she was a wildlife photographer and actually gifted me my first camera!). I was a child back then, taking photos of anything and everything, learning lighting and editing along the way. Then, in 2014 I decided to try out portrait photography and have never looked back!
Storytelling is my passion. It's my dream in life to travel and meet as many unique individuals as possible. I want to hear all of your stories and capture them in a way no one else can.

I love everything to do with the great outdoors. From hiking up the Rocky's to swimming in wild streams - you can be assured I'm always down for an adventure.
Being immersed in nature is what fuels my soul to create. I feel the most inspired when I'm walking in the middle of the woods (barefoot, obv) and can breathe in the fresh air from the forest.
I also love all things cinema related, and consider film a large inspiration in my work. I want you to feel the nostalgia and raw emotion when you flip through the photo albums from your day.
There's nothing more important to me than capturing your love in an artistic and cinematic way. Your love story is worth telling.
