MY WHY
& Philosophy
When I was young my grandparents would flip through their old photo albums, sprawling them out on the dining room table in front of me. With each crinkling turn of a page, I was transported to decades past, seeing the lives they lived long before I was here. When they showed me my childhood photos, I was taken back to how those moments felt, able to relive every birthday, celebration, and morning in the garden together. Years later, flipping through the same albums, I am transported again and again. The memories have faded overtime, but the images remain the same. We can only hold on to so much in this lifetime, and my nostalgia has me gripping onto those moments - a photograph is a tangible memory of the past.
I recognize the importance of that - of every little moment that happens in our lives. And I hold onto them all just the same.
Our lives are so precious, we must remember them.
